This did not prove a solution to the problem. Colin did not react well to the school’s stricter discipline. At one point, in a case of mistaken identity, he’d actually be arrested for murder. Waiting on tables for spare cash, the boys would also toil for three months in a bank, being sacked together for taking a 4-hour lunch break in the pub.

Back in Dublin once more, and acting the waster as usual, Colin Farrell was persuaded by his brother Eamon (who’d been at him for 2 years) to try acting classes. Eamon himself coughed up the ’20 for a first shot at the National Performing Arts School. For the first time in his life he discovered something he liked doing (other than smoking, drinking and chasing girls) and, come 1996, Colin followed his sister Catherine to the Gaiety School of Drama. It was while here that he made his screen debut, scoring a small role in The Disappearance Of Finbar, a low-budget effort concerning the effect on a group of Irish kids when Jonathan Rhys Meyers’ Finbar bounces a ball down the road and never comes back.

Colin James Farrell was born in the Castleknock area of Dublin, at the edge of Phoenix Park, on March 31st, 1976. Colin’s father Eamon and his uncle Tommy both played football for Shamrock Rovers. At their Sixties peak they were the Manchester United of Ireland. Farrell studied acting at the Gaiety School of Drama in Dublin and has established himself as a recognizable talent back home with a starring role in the BBC series “Ballykissangel”.

Colin Farrell made his North American theatrical debut in the dramatic movie, “Tigerland,” directed by Joel Schumacher. “Tigerland” followed a group of American soldiers as they prepared for the Vietnam War by participating in war games in the backwoods of Louisiana. Since then, Farrell’s gone on to star in such diverse films as “The Recruit,” opposite Al Pacino, and “Daredevil,” where he played the role of the villain ‘Bullseye’ with devilish charm.

Ever the ladies man, Colin Farrell was briefly married to Amelia Warner in 2001, and has a child by his girlfriend, Kim Bordenave. Never satisfied, he has also been romantically linked with Britney Spears and Demi Moore. The young Dublin heart-throb looks set for more conquests in the future, as he stars in Oliver Stone’s ‘Alexander’.

Having signed a deal with John Galliano in 2004, Charlize Theron replaced Estonian  model Tiiu Kuik as the spokeswoman in the J’ADORE advertisements by Christian Dior. On December 18, 2007, she finally stripped for Dior’s J’Adore perfume. Galliano has reputedly cited her as a muse and has been creating couture dresses for her to wear to formal red carpet events such as the Academy Awards and the Golden Globe Awards.

From October 2005 to December 2006, Theron earned $3,000,000 for the use of her image in a worldwide print media advertising campaign for Raymond Weil watches. In February 2006, she and her loan-out corporation were sued by Weil for breach of contract. The lawsuit was settled on November 4, 2008. Charlize Theron is involved in women’s rights organizations, and marched for abortion rights. Theron is a supporter of animal rights and active member of PETA. She appeared in a PETA ad for their anti-fur campaign.

Some may say that Charlize Theron is famous due her roles in important movies. This is true of course. However, I would add that Charlize is famous because her beauty as well. There are plenty of actresses that played in important movies but they never became famous. Beauty is an extremely important factor, at least for Hollywood movie industry.
