by Wallpaper Lover on Feb.25, 2010, under Hinduism --- 4832 views

Lord Shiva is a major Hindu God, and one aspect of Trimurti. In the Shaiva tradition of Hinduism, Shiva is seen as the Supreme God. Followers of Hinduism who focus their worship upon Shiva are called  Shaivas. Shiva has the ‘Third Eye’ on his forehead, which, if opened, will burn anything in sight of it into ashes.

Lord Shiva is usually worshiped in the abstract form of Shiva Linga. In images, he is generally represented as immersed in deep meditation or dancing the Tandava upon Maya, the demon of ignorance in his manifestation of Nataraja, the lord of the dance.

Those who adobe to Lord Shiva will get everything in life and never face any obstacles. Shiva bhakti is the most wonderful thing and those who earn shiva bhakti with the kindness of Lord Shiva are luckiest people in this world. Other aspects of Trimurthi are the Vishnu and The Brahma.
